Endo is the real Warframe end game. All the weapons in the world won’t help you if you don’t have the mods to make them sing, and those mods are powered by a resource called Endo. Endo can be earned in various ways through the game, and used to upgrade your mods via your ships systems. In this guide, I will run through the multiple ways that you can earn Endo, and a couple of concrete methods to gain a lot of it. As a guide, it is mostly aimed at people who are new to the game, so we will spend some time on the easiest and most obvious ways to get Endo as well.

Drops From Enemies

Your first experience of Endo will more than likely be as a drop from an enemy. Pretty much any enemy in the game can drop a small amount of Endo when they die. Make sure you pick it up, as all these drops add up over time. They are also affected by Smeeta Kavats and Resource Boosters, although both those things are better for dedicated farming.

Excess Mods

You can turn excess mods into Endo. If there are mods that you don’t need, head for the mods portion of your menu, and you will find the option to turn them into a small amount of Endo. You can check out our guide on Mods for more information on how to do this.

Maroo’s Weekly Mission

After you get access to Maroo’s Bazaar on Mars, you will be able to run a weekly mission for her to find an Ayatan Sculpture. Depending on the type of sculpture, this can get you anywhere from 1400 to 3400 Endo. Not bad for a single mission!

Finding Ayatan Scultpures

When you are doing a mission, you might be lucky and come across an Ayatan Sculpture somewhere in the level. These are small white and gold statues that you will be able to interact with and pick up. You can also find Ayatan Stars hidden in various containers around levels. You can put the Stars into the Sculpture, increasing its value, and then bring them to Maroo. She will give you the value of the Sculptures in Endo.

Daily Sorties

Sorties are a daily challenge that you can do after you have been playing the game for a while. Once you have completed The War Within story missions, you will be able to access them. They can award you Ayatan Sculptures, 4000 Endo, or a Legendary Core. Legendary Cores will fully upgrade any mod and should be saved for use with a Primed Mod.

Farming The Arena

If you can get a good squad of four people together, you can farm the Rathuum Arena. In the arena, you fight various Grineer enemies that have a high chance of dropping Endo. While it can be done solo, in an ideal world, you would run a Nekros for Desecrate. This forces more loot drops, increasing the Endo. You can also have everyone running Smeeta Kavats, to double the pickups. I also like to run an Ash with a strong dagger, as he can one-shot enemies. This is a more advanced method of farming, but it can be useful if everyone knows what they need to do.

Arbitrations

Arbitrations are a great way to farm Endo. You get access to them by completing all the basic missions on the Star Chart. To learn more about them, you can read our Guide. Because they are endless, you can run them for as long as you are able. They can also potentially drop an Ayatan Sculpture every 10 minutes or so, depending on the mission type.

The most important thing to remember about Endo is that once you are making the most informed decision you can, then you are never wasting it. Ideally, you want to use it to upgrade Mods that you will be using a lot and wait to fully upgrade some of the rarer cards until you have plenty of Endo in your inventory. When you first start playing the game, you don’t need to prioritize Endo farming, but it is good to be aware of how to get it.
