SCUM Weapon Crafting | How To Craft A Weapon To Start With

Making a basic weapon was never so easy. Follow the tips provided below to get things going in SCUM on Weapon Crafting.
You’ve finished making your beautiful convict, now you’re looking at the sparse landscape of Croatia and you ask yourself, “Where do I start?” Well, first things first, you’re alone with quite possibly a large number of dangerous men and you’re going to need a weapon. Since you get dropped off at a seemingly random position on the map, finding a shovel or a pick an Axe in the foliage might be an impossibility. To fix this vulnerability, you’re going to need at least a Wooden Spear.
Once you’ve spawned into the world, aim at the ground until you see a prompt to Search for Rocks, you’re going to need Two Small Stones. Once you have these stones you’re going to want to press TAB to open your menu and select the crafting tab. Take a look at the right-hand side of the screen, at the top, is a Stone Knife, select it and click the craft button at the bottom of the screen. Don’t forget to pick up your Stone Knife off the ground as it won’t go straight into your inventory after crafting. The next step is finding a bush to cut down with your shiny new knife.
Once you find a compatible bush, a Cut prompt should appear when you aim directly at it. When the process is complete the bush should disappear and magically drop a selection of sticks and branches, the type you’re looking for is a Long Wooden Stick. Open that trusty crafting menu again and look for the option to craft an Improvised Wooden Spear. Click that Craft button again and drag it into one of the holsters on the right-hand side of your Inventory screen. This process can be repeated as many times as you want, so long as you have a surplus of Long Wooden Sticks, but be aware, you can only holster two of them at a time.
Congratulations! You’re now capable of protecting yourself from any adversaries lurking around in SCUM.
