The Lucky Coin is one of many items that you can find in Remnant: From The Ashes. Where you get it, or even if you get it, is random. The item gets affected by your game’s world seed. This mechanic means it gets randomly generated in your world. It can appear in a random location, during a random moment in the game. Or it might not appear at all. It does seem to have a habit of showing up in some of the underground dungeons.
If you are lucky enough to have it show up, it can get you a powerful weapon. But only once you know where to take it.
Remnant: From The Ashes – What To Do With The Lucky Coin
If the Lucky Coin drops in your game, you can decide to either finish up what you are doing or head straight for the nearest checkpoint. It doesn’t matter, and it’s up to you. You need to go to Ward 13.
When you arrive, go and visit Ace, the lady who sells you different upgrade materials. When you go and speak to her, she has a new dialogue option for you to pick and you can ask her if the Lucky Coin is hers. She will say yes, thanking you for returning it to her and she presents you with her Magnum Revolver and some Scrap as a reward. You also get some experience for finishing this secret side mission.
The Magnum Revolver is a hard-hitting handgun that fires 1.4 rounds per second, has a six-shot magazine, and base damage of 75.6 when it drops. It doesn’t hit as hard as the Hunter’s Pistol, but you also don’t need to reload after every shot.
