How to unlock Monster Energy skins in Halo: Infinite
Halo might not be out yet, but you can still earn some in game loot.

Even though the long-awaited Halo: Infinite has been delayed into 2021, you can still earn exclusive gear for the game before it comes out. In a partnership with Monster Energy, gamers who buy specific Halo: Infinite branded cans of Monster can earn four exclusive gun skins, two player banners, and two player icons. As you could imagine this pack is going to be Monster themed with green and black.
Along with the in-game skins, these cans will give you double XP once the game comes out. Not only will you have a fresh set of weapons, but you’ll also have an easier time grinding to get more items once we can finally jump in the game in January.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a look at what player skins will look like yet, but it does give us an idea of what skins may come in the future. You will be able to unlock these items starting Tuesday, September 1, when the promotion officially begins. It will run through December 31, so you will have plenty of time to grab this gear before it becomes too late.
How to unlock the Monster Energy skins
It’s a bit of a roundabout process, so buckle up. You can unlock the goods by:
- Purchasing a promotional Monster Energy, available in select stores nationwide.
- Take a picture of the receipt.
- Creating an account on the Monster Energy X Halo Infinite promotional website and send in that picture. Each time you send one in you earn points to unlock a code.
- Create an account on HaloWaypoint.com and enter the code you unlocked. This will give you access to the content and enter you in a sweepstakes to win an Xbox Series X and a copy of Halo: Infinite.
