When Is NHL 20 Coming Out – All Release Times For The Different Editions

There are no real shocks with the NHL 20 release date, as the game releases in the same window pretty much every year. The game will release in September for PS4 and Xbox One, but there are some ways to get your hands on the game a little early.

When Is NHL 20 Coming Out?

The official release date is September 13 for the worldwide launch of NHL 20 on both PS4 and Xbox One. If you pre-order the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions, you will get access to the game on September 10 instead, giving you a head start on your competition.

EA SPORTS NHL 20 introduces cutting-edge gameplay innovation to showcase your skills, more customization to unlock your style, and new modes to compete with friends. RPM Tech-powered gameplay introduces Signature Shots that replicate your favorite NHL players’ real-world shot styles. Over 45 new shot animations make every attack a threat, and new passing and puck pick-ups create faster, fluid gameplay executed at full speed.

A revamped broadcast package delivers all-new visuals and commentary. Combined with over 1,100 new customization items for your club and character, your biggest goals look incredible during the action and in the highlight reel. Finally, NHL 20 adds three new game modes. HUT Squad Battles features weekly teams, built by athletes and artists, to challenge for unique rewards. The fan-favorite ONES can now be played with friends on the couch, and the all-new Eliminator mode in World of CHEL introduces winner-take-all competition where you and your friends compete to be the best in the barn.

Special Editions And Pre-Orders

Standard Edition

The Standard Edition of the game includes the game itself, but pre-ordering will get you Up to 2 HUT Diamond Choice Packs, and 1 World of CHEL hockey bag.

Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition gets you three days early access to the game, one HUT Hometown Hero Choice Pack, and two Unlocked World of CHEL Hockey Bags, and up to 5 Hut Choice Packs.

Ultimate Edition

The Ultimate Edition comes with everything in the Deluxe edition, plus three more Unlocked World of CHEL Hockey Bags, and Entry Collectible to the Exclusive HUT Launch Competitive Season.
