Here are the few easy steps to get your copy of the franchise’s first installment:

  1. First, you’ll need to make sure you have a GOG account.
  2. You will then want to download Gwent, which is free-to-play, on the site, if you haven’t done so. If you don’t have interest for it, you can simply add it to your library.
  3. Subscribe to their email newsletters, made possible through their site.
  4. After, go to the The Witcher: Enchanted Edition‘s purchase page, and it will be shown as a free purchase for you.
  5. For Gwent users, you will now have a free Keg card, as well.

Once downloaded, you can go back to the subscribe page to be removed from the mailing list, if you desire. As a subsidiary to The Witcher‘s developer, CD Projekt Red, GOG is periodically offering free copies of each game in the franchise, so be sure to keep an eye out, if you haven’t played the other games in the trilogy.
