Will Valorant be available on Steam?

You can only find it in one place.

Riot Games created Valorant, and it has its own service and website where you can download their games for their platform. Because Riot handles all of it, players don’t have to go elsewhere after downloading the game. Will Valorant make its way to Steam? That’s extremely unlikely.

For those who want to download Valorant, you can do so from the game’s primary website. Before you do so, you will need to have created a Riot account. You can do so on this page, or sign up for an existing one you have already created.

After you have your Riot account set up, you can start playing Valorant once the download completes and follow the step-by-step instructional guide of the installation process. Once you complete the download process, you should have a shortcut of the game on your desktop’s primary window. If you don’t, you can freely browse for it in your files by searching for “Valorant.”

For the moment, Riot Games has not created a launcher for all of its games. It could happen in the future, and it has not brought its massively popular game League of Legends to other platforms or storefronts. Because of this, you will likely have a chance to connect it to your Steam account or find it in your Steam library. Valorant will likely continue to live a single icon on your desktop.

Should Riot create a launcher in the future, Valorant and the other Riot games, League of Legends and Legends of Runterra, will likely be available from this location.
