Red Dead Redemption 2’s achievement list is pretty lackluster for the sprawling game that it is based on.

The achievements don’t ask you to hunt all the legendary animals or do some insane crazy hidden mission, but some of them can be missed if you fly through the game’s story and miss a ton of checkpoints along the way.

4 Achievements/Trophies That You Can Miss In RDR 2

Below are all the achievements and trophies you can miss out on in the game if you aren’t careful. Fair warning though, some of them contain spoilers to the game’s story. Don’t continue reading if you don’t want to be spoiled!

Lending a Hand, which asks you to complete all optional Honor story missions, is easy to miss as you can potentially skip some missions by advancing too far in the story.

Chapter six, for example, requires at least Honor Level four or eight to be played, therefore, its super important that you commit to one type of honor to be able to access this mission.

Friends with Benefits is another one, as you must do random companion missions or camps in chapters two, three, and four to get it. The same can be said about Give to the Poor, which asks you to donate $250 to the games Tithing Box. The box, as well as the camp, disappear after chapter four so be sure to get these trophies before then.

Errand Boy, which asks you to deliver five of the camp’s item requests, is another one of these achievements you need to do before chapter five for the same reason listed above.

Skin Deep and Zoologist are also missable if you fail to skin and scan every animal on the island of Guarma, which you visit during chapter five. You will be unable to return to this island after the chapter ends, so you need to get everything you can while you are there to get these two achievements.

Currently, all the Red Dead Online Achievements and Trophies are unable to obtain due to the service not going live until sometime this month. Once the beta goes live, however, you’ll finally be able to slog through all the grinding needed to get yourself that sweet 100 percent achievement score or that epic Platinum Trophy.
