Where are the Volundr Forge Drones in Destiny 2?
Find the drones, get an Exotic.

Destiny 2’s Izanagi’s Burden quest is quite long and involves some time spent in the Volundr forge. For one-step, you will need to get the Volundr Forge to maximum temper, but to do this, you will need to know the Volundr Forge drones locations. In this guide, we will show you where they are.
To get to the Volundr Forge, you need to spawn at the Sunken Isles on the EDZ, then head into the big tunnel on the left side of the map. Head all the way down until you reach some Cabal, then go through the smaller tunnel leading off the right-hand side. It will be blocked off by some bollards, so just walk through then hop on your Sparrow again when you are past them.
When you arrive, interact with the Forge to start the event. You need to make it through the first wave, as the Forge Drones will only spawn in between the two rounds.
Volundr Forge Drone #1
The first drone can be found on the right side, near the close off area of the cave. It will spawn in near the roof, just above the crate.
Volundr Forge Drone #2
The second drone will spawn on the left side, near the trees on an outcropping of rock outside the Forge area.
Now that you know where both Volundr Forge drones spawn, you can take them out very quickly. This Forge is filled with Cabal enemies, so hard-hitting weapons like Hard Cannons and Shotguns are great, but you will want to have some range available for the boss fight.
It is a good idea to bring a Sniper Rifle, as it will allow you to put plenty of damage into the boss at the end of the Forge. Once you finish this Forge at maximum temper, you will be one step closer to your Izanagi’s Burden.
