Minecraft fans in the United States can now rejoice with the arrival of Minecraft Earth‘s early access for mobile devices. Previously, several European countries were able to connect to the game, but now the United States has joined that exclusive list.

In a tweet sent out earlier this morning, the official Twitter page for Minecraft Earth announced it is coming to the U.S.

Hey ??United States, we found your Minecraft Earth invite, it was behind the couch this whole time! Welcome to early access!

The tweet directs all viewers to the website’s official page. From there, it lists out two options for players to download the augmented reality game to start playing. You’re going to need an iOS or Android device to play it.

Minecraft Earth is the augmented reality version of the traditional Minecraft game. Players use their phones to see the digital blocks throughout the world and create new creations overtop of real ones. It’s Mojang’s answer to Niantic’s Pokémon Go. Rather than going around collecting Pokémon, though, Minecraft Earth has players exploring the world to find animals, new blocks, and crafting materials to use in their digital creations.

For those having trouble downloading the early access application, we created a step-by-step guide for you to follow. Some parts of the country are still having issues with downloading the early access. If you’re in the United States, and you’re still getting the error message “This item isn’t available in your country,” make sure to check back with the application later.

You can start creating objects and unique setups with your friends, or by yourself, right now. Explore your town with the new Minecraft Earth application lens, and discover what you can find.
