Death Stranding BBC Video Features Kojima Interview, New Gameplay Footage

Hideo Kojima has been interviewed by BBC, which is quite an event if you already look at that like this. This interview has been included in the video below where you can also check some brand new footage from Death Stranding.
The interview has covers a lot of interesting topics, not only about the game itself but also about the themes that it is trying and inspiring throughout the story, which, as you might know, is about reconnecting America in a shattered world.
“Trump is building a wall, and the UK is leaving the EU,” Kojima told BBC, as reported by VGC. “In this game, we use bridges to connect things, but destroying those bridges can instantly turn them into walls. So bridges and walls are almost synonymous. That’s one of the things I’d like the players to think about in the game.”
He added that he wants gamers to learn about that and about the importance of sticking together with the others after playing Death Stranding, literally as “I want you to use what you learned in the game. Connecting is one of those things.”
The Japanese game maker has also added that he feels that gamers are “prone to loneliness, even though they’re having fun with others outside when they’re alone playing video games in their living room, they don’t feel like they fit into the society of their community.”
Death Stranding is releasing on November 8, 2019, and is coming with a day one patch that has already been deployed on PS4.
