The beginning of September is going to be madness for those who play all of the new games. There’s going to be so much to do, and one of the latest games coming out is a significant expansion called Iceborne for Monster Hunter: World. Right now, if you still need to figure out if you’re going to get the game or not, you can preload the beta to try it out.

Two different betas are going on before the game releases on Sept. 6.

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne PlayStation 4 Beta – Start And End Time

  • Starts on Aug. 30, 12:01 am PT
  • Ends on Sept. 1, 11:59 pm PT

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne Xbox One Beta – Start And End Time

  • Starts on Sept. 2, 12:01 am PT
  • Ends on Sept. 4, 11:59 pm PT

The beta includes three, new monsters for hunters to chase after that were shown and given to the press behind closed doors. These are going to be the Great Jagras, the Banbaro, and the Tigrex. They’re not the same in difficulty, with the Great Jagras being the easiest and the Tigrex being the most complicated to beat. Players are going to get their chance to hunt them in numerous quests. Every time a player completes one of the new quests for the first time in the beta, they’re going to earn a commendation pack, which unlocks during the expansion’s full release.

All 14 of the new weapons are going to be available in the game, allowing players to see which ones they want to reserve to use when the game goes live. Make sure to check them out while you’re hunting the new monsters to see what playstyle you’re going to go down in Iceborne.

Start downloading the beta from your console’s respective store, so you’re ready to jump in when the Iceborne beta goes live.

Monster Hunter: World’s expansion Iceborne releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Sept. 6. The PC version of the game is getting the expansion as well, but not for much later. So far, the PC expansion is set to release sometime in early 2020.
