Wargaming Bring Pagan Online and Sabaton to Gamescom 2019

Wargaming, developers of notable titles like World of Tanks and World of Warships, is bringing the release build of their online game Pagan Online to Gamescom 2019. Those who attend the event are going to have the chance to see play this build before it officially releases to the world. While at the event, Wargaming brought their heavy-metal playing friends Sabaton to play the band’s iconic song, Swedish Pagans, live at the developer’s booth.
Pagan Online first got announced in Nov. 2018. It stands out as a different title than what Wargaming has made in the past at its development studio. Unlike World of Tanks and World of Warships, players take the form of a single character where they attack waves upon waves of enemies, picking up massive amounts of equipable loot. Players choose from eight different characters, each with unique abilities and playstyles to make their gameplay iconic for every run. The game feels like a Diablo-like game as players are meant to run through the game multiple times, grabbing new, more powerful loot as they run through the dangerous dungeons.
Those who are attending the event get a special treat in seeing Swedish heavy-metal band Sabaton at Wargaming’s booth. Not only is the band there to play their iconic song Swedish Pagans live for the attendees, but they’re to play the game. Fans might catch a band member or two playing the game live from Wargaming’s live stream on their Twitch page.
It makes sense for Sabaton to show up to a big event like that as they celebrate the first month of their recently released album, The Great War.
You can catch Wargaming on a live stream during the next few days. They have live streaming events scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 UTC, which is 3:00 AM PST and 6 AM EST to 5 AM PST and 7 AM EST.
Anyone who attends the event and plays the game is going to have access to a Gamescom-exclusive pet called Decimator, The Death of Worlds. This pet is likely going to come home with attendees through exclusive game code. However, because not every player can make it to Gamescom 2019, Wargaming is making the Mighty Mut available to anyone who logs into the game during the duration of Gamescom 2019. If you’re a fan, make sure to jump in real quick to grab your pet.
While the game is not officially out yet, it is running an early access build players can jump in on at any time. They can pick up the game from Steam or from Wargaming’s launch window. It costs $19.99.
