In a recent financial report, Nintendo updated its list of the Nintendo Switch’s top-selling games. The list contains various go-to entries, but also a couple of surprises. The report shows an incredibly strong sales breakdown of their games.

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 17.89 million
  • Super Mario Odyssey – 14.94 million
  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 14.73 million
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 13.61 million
  • Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! – 10.98 million
  • Splatoon 2 – 9.02 million
  • Super Mario Party – 6.99 million
  • New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 4.10 million
  • 1-2-Switch – 3.01 million
  • Mario Tennis Aces – 2.75 million

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues to dominate the number one spot with a massive 17.89 million sales. It’s unlikely to lose that spot any time soon as it is nearly 3 million sales higher than Super Mario Odyssey. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate then fills out the top three, with an impressive 14.73 million sales.

With the recently reported sales of Super Mario Maker 2, we can probably expect that to replace Mario Tennis Aces the next time the list gets updated, and the recently released Fire Emblem:Three Houses seems to have an incredible start, so it’s not outside the realm of imagination that it does end up on the list.

The sales figures include retail, digital, and bundled copies from sale worldwide.
