One of the next mobile games that are being developed with the Pokémon Company, Pokémon Masters, which was revealed during a press conference in late May, is to be re-revealed this Thursday (June 28) in a stream that will last roughly eight minutes and provide brand new information on what we can expect.

The Pokémon Company publishes Pokemon Masters, and DeNA, the studio behind Nintendo’s previous in-house mobile games Super Mario Run, Miitomo, Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, as well as the upcoming Mario Kart Tour, is developing the game.

This he new free-to-play game allows players to battle with and against trainers that are famous from the mainline series in a three on three battle scenario. Feel like with the help of Elite Four members Lance and Cynthia on your side that you’d be unstoppable? Are you and Red ready to conquer the world again? Ever wanted to fight alongside Youngster Joey, with his top percentile Rattata? Maybe not the last one, but with Pokémon Masters, battles like this should be possible.

The extent of the battle system and how you come about gathering your Pokémon is unknown, but the reveal stream this Thursday, which starts at 13:00 UTC (8 pm PDT, 11 pm EST), should confirm more information about what the player can expect from the new title. Being made in-house should give the game a more authentic feel compared to Pokémon GO.

The game is due to be released on iOS and Android devices, and if history repeats itself, you won’t have to wait long after the reveal to get your hands on this new Pokémon mobile experience.
