Rage 2 is releasing on May 14 worldwide but, as usual, we’ll be able to check reviews out a bit earlier than the street date.

As shared by IGN, reviews will be free to pop up on the net as soon as May 13, 5 AM Pacific Time, which means you’ll have around one day to decide whether you should buy the game or not.

Interestingly, while we don’t have any official detail on the matter, IGN claims that Bethesda and Avalanche have shared the title will feature “dozens” of hours in terms of gameplay.

“I’m not super confident I’ll be able to power through it by then,” says indeed Dan Stapleton, the guy in charge of the review for the website.

“Avalanche and id’s open-world post-apocalyptic shooter is pretty broad, and Bethesda indicates it could take dozens of hours to spectacularly murder most of its inhabitants.”

At this stage, we don’t know if Bethesda has done some of its weird things with review codes, providing to only a very select series of outlets or just to IGN since they’ve had a “First” partnership along the last few months.

Anyway, at the very least, we can anticipate some impressions from the website one day before the release date, which is going to be fine nonetheless.
