Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft Published Titles Reportedly Coming To Nintendo Switch

We’ve known for quite a while now that Nintendo and Microsoft are having a very good relationship during this generation.
This time around, anyway, reports hint at something even deeper going on between the two platforms owners.
Microsoft would be indeed bringing Xbox Game Pass on Nintendo Switch as soon as this year, as reported by Game Informer.
According to Direct Feed Games, Switch would be using Project xCloud to stream titles it can’t run natively, while download would be enabled for games it is powerful enough to play (Xbox 360 ones, for example).
On top of that, Microsoft would also be publishing several titles natively for Nintendo Switch, such as Ori and the Blind Forest and Super Lucky’s Tale.
This is not the first time the Redmond platform holder publishes titles on Nintendo platforms – it has happened with Minecraft and back to Nintendo DS era several Rare games went over there, like Viva Pinata.
Similarly, the Switch has also played Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Resident Evil 7 via streaming in Japan, so the platform itself is open to such solutions.
