While at Games Com today, Ubisoft has announced the release date for Anno 1800 as February 26, 2019. The latest entry in the classic city-building series will allow players to expand their empires to the distant shores of South America for the first time.

Anno 1800 not only expands on the existing features, such as discovering the industrial revolution and creating huge metropolises in the 19th century, but it also adds a whole new Expeditions feature.

Expeditions allow players to send crews of specialists across the globe as they seek fame and fortune, while the new workforce feature makes managing your factories more demanding and realistic than ever. Finally, players will settle South America as they lay claim to the petroleum powering this new age of industry.

Players will be able to enjoy a deep story mode in Anno 1800 or join their friends in a multiplayer mode allowing them to rule the world together. Whether you do so via diplomacy, economic prowess, or war is up to you.

Anno 1800 will be released in one of three versions, as a digital deluxe edition joins the standard edition, providing access to “The Anarchist” DLC, the game soundtrack, an art book, and exclusive company logos. There will also be a Pioneers Edition, which includes a Steelbook, the game’s soundtrack, three lithographs, a letter, and a 120-page artbook in addition to the base game.

Anyone who pre-orders Anno 1800 will receive the Imperial Pack which includes additional content. Anno 1800 will be available on PC on February 26, 2019.
