When it comes to adding new content to Sims 4, you can’t go wrong with a new outfit, place to visit, or bringing in a new addition to the house in the form of a pet. The latest new content pack brings a fresh scent to the game.
If doing laundry in real life wasn’t already that exciting, you can now make your Sim do your favorite activity in the world. Get ready to clear space for a new Washer and Dryer, or, if you’re wanting to leave a lesser impact on your Sim’s digital footprint, you can set up a wash bin and clothing line in your yard.
Just like in real life, all you must do is set up a hamper in a location of your choosing, and clothes will start to pile up until they’re collected. If your hamper becomes full, or you’ve decided to not have a hamper, dirty clothes will pile up near your Sim. For the Sims who have the Slob trait, they will generate piles of clothes on the ground instead of having them automatically go to the hamper.
To make doing laundry more fun in the Sims 4, you can include additives to your laundry for additional effects. Enhancing your clothing with a fresh scent is as simple as gathering flowers from your garden and adding the petals to the wash. The flowery scent will give your Sim a positive effect as they wear fresh clean clothes. Much like putting on clothes that come straight from the dryer.
If you’re in the mood to make things more interesting with your laundry, you can also add food to the washing machine or washtub, and see how negatively your Sim gets when they put the clothes on.
For those mischievous Sims, adding extra soap to the wash will ensure a bubbly good time for that Sim, but cause havoc for the other Sims you have in your household.
