The Battle Cats offers half-off sale for Special Cats to celebrate 8th Anniversary
Take advantage of these Special Cat sales every weekend for the next month.

The 8th Anniversary of The Battle Cats has arrived, and game development studio PONOS Corporation is offering players a wide range of events to help them share in the celebrations.
One of the events that has been announced is a half-off sale, which promises to make Special Cats available to players for half their usual Cat Food cost. But what are Special Cats, and how will the sale event work?
Special Cats
Special Cats can generally be unlocked by completing certain missions, or fulfilling certain other requirements in the game. Once unlocked, these cats are available to purchase with Cat Food, the in-game currency which can either be earned as a daily bonus, or purchased with real money. Special Cats come with a range of talents and abilities that can give players an edge in battle.
There is a wide range of purchasable Special Cats, including the Ninja Cat, the Sumo Cat, and the Kung Fu Cat. Prices typically range from between 50 and 160 Cat Food, depending on which Cat you want to purchase.
The Special Cats Sale
During the sale, Special Cats will be available to unlock for half their usual Cat Food cost. The sale itself will take place over four separate occasions during the 8th Anniversary celebrations:
- Sale 1: September 16 (12 AM) to September 18 (11:59 PM)
- Sale 2: September 23 (12 AM) to September 25 (11:59 PM)
- Sale 3: September 30 (12 AM) to October 2 (11:59 PM)
- Sale 4: October 7 (12 AM) to October 9 (11:59 PM)
If you are keen to get your hands on some new Special Cats, this will be an excellent opportunity to do so for half the usual cost.
The 8th Anniversary celebrations run from September 12 through to October 10. If you are interested in trying The Battle Cats for yourself, it is available on iOS and Android.
