Monster Hunter: World has cooked up one of its coolest events yet as it brings over the massive Behemoth from Final Fantasy XIV into the game. The crossover was announced during the Square Enix E3 2018 media briefing, but this is the first look we’ve gotten at the upcoming promotion.

Square Enix has released a new trailer detailing the promotion, which also spotlights cuddly moogles, Final Fantasy-esque crystals, and even prickly Cactuars swarming around the game world. It’s a veritable treasure trove of Final Fantasy fun. Let’s face it: Felynes are adorable and all, but they don’t hold a candle to some of Final Fantasy’s long running cuties.

Monster Hunter: World has already done crossovers with Street Fighter, Mega Man and Devil May Cry, but this is the first crossover with a non-Capcom property.

The Behemoth first appeared as a boss in the Japan-exclusive Final Fantasy II, but became better known as a summon in several games afterwards. It is known for its ability to call down a fiery comet to deal some huge damage. Judging by the new video, Behemoth has brought this power to Monster Hunter: World.

The legendary creature will be charging into the game on Aug. 1 at 8 PM EDT, and will mirror the size of the game’s final boss. It’ll take everything you’ve got to defeat it, so make sure you get in some practice over the next month.

Monster Hunter: World is also scheduled to arrive on PC next month, making the jump from Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Aug. 9.
