Microsoft is expanding its lineup of official peripherals with newly-announced wireless Sport White Special Edition controller. It’s poised for launch in the US and Canada this month, with an August launch for the rest of the world.

The Sport White controller features mint-green accents and a grid-like pattern on the front, with gray and white buttons and silver D-pad. It’s the same “fresh white base” you can use to build your own controllers in the Xbox Design Lab, but this version features a rubberized diamond grip on the back. It’s designed for “comfort” and will “help you stay on target” while getting your game on.

The first of the Sport series line will run you $69.99, and will come with complimentary 14-day trials for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass. If you need a place to hang up the controller when finished with it, you can also pick up the Pro Charging Stand, a licensed charger from Controller Gear that’s “built with the same high-quality materials” as the Sport White gamepad itself. The stand will cost $49.99 and comes with a battery cover, 6-foot power cord, and rechargeable battery.

While this is the first in a series, it’s unclear what other color options and designs we can look forward to from Microsoft going forward. This particular configuration has a “minty fresh” look, and it doesn’t exactly summon forth “sporty” thoughts outside of looking like certain wind blazers. But it does feature a nice, clean aesthetic that’s a great addition to the collection of other special edition controllers out there.
