After ongoing speculation over Cyberpunk 2077‘s gameplay and setting, CD Projekt Red’s upcoming dystopian RPG has received its first world premiere thanks to an official trailer unveiled during Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference.

CD Projekt Red wrapped up Microsoft’s conference with a trailer showing off Cyberpunk 2077’s dystopian setting. Gameplay casts players into a high-tech open-world filled with androids, hover cars, futuristic technology, day-and-night cycles, and plenty of violence for players to experience. Little is known about Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay for now, but CD Projekt’s official trailer was shot completely through the game’s engine, showing incredibly advanced graphics.

CD Projekt Red originally introduced Cyberpunk 2077 in May 2012, three years before the Polish gaming studio released its immensely-popular RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Cyberpunk 2077 is based off Cyberpunk 2020, a popular tabletop RPG series, and the upcoming game will have an open-world setting inspired heavily by the cyberpunk genre from movies, literature, and gaming.
