Respawn Entertainment was on hand to show off its latest Star Wars title during EA Play 2018 today, ahead of the official set of E3 2018 conferences about to happen. The new game will be called Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Players will take up the role of a Jedi set during the “dark times” between Star Wars Episodes III and IV, when Darth Vader and the Empire are working to suss out what remains of the Jedi Order. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see more of the game until next year in 2019. There was no footage shown during the show, but at least we have an idea of what to expect from the Star Wars series going forward aside from Star Wars Battlefront II.

Respawn is responsible for bringing us the Titanfall series, in terms of both Titanfall and Titanfall 2. It’ll be interesting to see what ideas the developer brings to the table for Star Wars fans around the world.

This wasn’t the only good news for Star Wars fans announced today, however, as Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be getting special Clone Wars DLC with Heroes and Villains such as Obi-wan, Anakin, and General Grievous.

The planet Geonosis will be added to the DLC pack as well, with a large amount of levels and one of the biggest ever built for Battlefront in its entirety. There’s no release date just yet for the Clone Wars DLC, but we should be seeing it at some point later this year.
