Nintendo has announced a brand new Nintendo Switch bundle has been released in Japan.

The bundle will be handheld-focused and is around $50 cheaper then the current bundles available to consumers. The bundle will include the Nintendo Switch system, two Joy-Con controllers, and wrist straps.

The bundle doesn’t include a charger or power supply, so you’ll need to buy that separately in order to use this bundle as your main Switch. Nintendo specifically mentions that the bundle is meant to act as a “second set” for households that already own a Switch and all the basic accessories.

Currently, there are no announced plans to bring the new bundle over to the West. We could, however, hear more about the possibility of it coming state-side at this Summer’s E3, which is only a few days away.

The Nintendo Switch released back in March 2017 and has been a huge hit with gamers around the world. In April, Nintendo confirmed that the Switch sold just under 18 million units worldwide which was two million units more than the lifetime sales of the Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo’s last home console. With the Switch reaching 15 million units sold worldwide in December 2017, that means the Switch sold two million units in the first four months of this year.

The Switch has also sold more units in its first year than the PlayStation 2 managed to do in the same timeframe.
