Battlefield V confirmed, reveal event set for May 23

The next installment in the Battlefield series has been confirmed, and the live reveal event’s date has been set.
Battlefield V will be unveiled to the world on Wednesday, May 23 as The Daily Show host Trevor Noah and key figures behind Battlefield present the fifth installment in the popular franchise. Unlike its predecessor, Battlefield 1, which was set in the early 20th century during World War I, the upcoming title will be “on a different frontline,” according to a post on Battlefield’s website.
Along with Noah, Oskar Gabrielson, the head of DICE Stockholm, senior producer Andreas Morell, creative director Lars Gustavsson, and design director Daniel Berlin will break down the newest addition to the Battlefield series.
Battlefield V will feature new modes and experiences, and it was teased that Operations, a popular game mode in Battlefield 1, will make a return in the next title, according to the website post.
The reveal event will explain a lot and show fans what’s in store for the series that began nearly two decades ago. Fans can watch the event via livestream at several locations.
