The city in the sky is scary.

Beast Clergyman / Maliketh, the Black Blade

This two-part boss battle is required boss battle, so you can’t miss him. After following the full path in this massive dungeon, you’ll eventually make your way up the Great Bridge, fighting a non-boss version of the Tree Sentinel at the top. The Beast Clergyman, who reveals himself to be Maliketh, is in the next room. Finding him is the easy part, but luckily we do have a boss guide for the actual fight.

There are many dragon bosses in Elden Ring, but Placidusax is the king. This is the only optional boss fight in the region. Start at the Beside the Great Bridge Site of Grace and Ride the lift down. Go through the temple and straight ahead to cliff — look for a ledge you can drop to below. Follow this path down to a series of graves, and find the empty one. Press the button to lie down in it, and you’ll be teleported to the boss arena.

This is also a required boss fight in Crumbling Farum Azula, but it can still be a bit tricky to find. To begin, proceed through the dungeon as normal. As it takes you in a clockwise direction, you’ll eventually reach the Dragon Temple Site of Grace, shown in the screenshot above. From here, we can orient ourselves and head to the boss battle.

The shortest path is to start from the Dragon Temple Site of Grace and head straight forward / east. Make a right, then a left. Take out the enemy here and head down the stairs. Make a right on the balcony (there will be another enemy) and take the curved stairs down. Head through the next doorway to enter the boss room.
