If you have played any of the Fire Emblem games, you would know that your connections to the various characters matter when you are in the heat of battle. Since Awakening, romance options have played a key role in the Fire Emblem games. Many players spend hours trying to make their favorite character fall in love with them. Unfortunately, if you have been playing Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and looking to romance Edelgard, Dimitri, or Claude, you might be disappointed. Here’s why.
Are there options for romance in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes?
If you were hoping to make one of the many characters fall in love with you, unfortunately, that won’t be happening any time soon. The romance options have gone the way of a bad relationship and split from this game. It looks like you will only be forming platonic relationships with the characters. That doesn’t mean that support doesn’t still matter. In fact, it matters quite a bit.

Despite not being able to romance characters, you can still gain their support and increase your character’s relationships with those around them. Instead of the maximum rank for a character being an S rank, the max rank has been reduced to A. Some characters will hint about their having feelings for others, but these subtle hints never go anywhere.
If you are still looking to increase support with other characters, be sure to pay attention to their dialogue. Responding appropriately to characters will increase your relationship with them. You can also increase character relationships by performing actions for them and heading into battle together. Make sure to increase your relationship so that you can reap the rewards that come with it.
