Halo Infinite Is Not Supporting Xbox Play Anywhere, Apparently

NeoGaf user DynamiteCop! has discovered a new interesting detail on Xbox.com’s Halo Infinite official web page. Indeed, that page is lacking the Xbox Play Anywhere logo, possibly meaning the game is not supporting it.
Xbox Play Anywhere allows you to access both the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions of a game by purchasing it only once on Microsoft’s digital store. On top of that, it also provides that game with the cross-save functionality and shared achievements.
Anyway, at this moment the Xbox.com page is only showing the 4K, HDR and Xbox One X Enhanced logos, meaning that Halo Infinite will apparently do all that but won’t support the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
It’s quite weird if you consider that Gears 5, which also was announced at the Xbox E3 2018 press conference, still has the Xbox Play Anywhere logo attached to it in its official web page.
While this could be a signal of the game not being a part of Xbox Play Anywhere, there’s still a chance that the lack of the logo is a mistake or part of Microsoft’s will not to talk too much about features it still needs some time to verify before making them public.
Halo Infinite is not releasing anytime soon, indeed, and it’ll need at least another couple years before actually letting people put their hands on it, as at E3 we only saw an engine demonstration. So, who knows what might happen in such a long timeframe.
