To complete the Take Over Challenge, you need to use 3 boost pads in a single lap. Boost pads are the striped sections of floor that make you go faster. The first three you can use during a lap are on the higher level of the two-level section of the track, after the area with the mushroom-shaped rock pillars (after the landslide on the first lap), and on the service ramp. There are also boost pads just in front of the middle of the three rock archways, in the middle of the track after the square archways, on the right after the cave section, and in the middle of the stretch of track at the bottom of the map.
