The main hulking bruisers of Diablo Immortal, Barbarians excel in dishing out massive damage to enemies around them. Their AoE attacks are second to none, and as such, they are highly sought after to clear dungeons, rifts, and all the other content in the game.
At the end-game of Diablo Immortal, it becomes doubly important to leverage your class’ strengths to your benefit. That means that we’ll be doubling down on our potential to wreak havoc with the Barbarian by recommending two powerful builds that you can take into various content.

Spin-to-win
This build focuses on the Barbarian’s ability to deal massive AoE while on the move with the Whirlwind skill and using Sprint to make the brute move as fast as possible. This build is an excellent farming and clearing build, letting you zip through the content speedily and efficiently.
Skills
- Lacerate: Your Primary skill that serves as the source of single target damage and healing.
- Sprint: Main movement skill which you want to keep up as much as possible.
- Whirlwind: Our bread and butter damage skill. You will be using this skill in combat almost non-stop.
- Wrath of the Berserker: An excellent buff skill to our damage through attack speed and mobility.
- (Option 1) Furious Charge: Take this for extra mobility + damage, especially if you like bull-rushing into groups of mobs.
- (Option 2) Hammer of the Ancients: This skill becomes a better option if you’re using The Remembered legendary off-hand weapon.
Itemization
- Second Breath: Legendary helm that significantly buffs our mobility through Sprint.
- The Gathering & Eager Maelstrom: Chest armor and main-hand weapon legendary combo that combine to turn Whirlwind into a meat grinder. Their awakened traits make our main skill last longer too, and both items are essential to this build.
- The Coming Storm: Shoulder armor legendary that buffs our Wrath of the Berserker skill, and can significantly increase its uptime.
- (Optional) Screaming Fury: Legendary Legs armor that adds a CC portion to Furious Charge.
- (Optional) The Remembered: Provides further effects to Hammer of the Ancients with a summon portion, potentially increasing our massacre bonuses while helping with our single target damage.
- Set items: Grace of the Flagellant is the set of choice for Barbarians in general. It fills out most of our other slots nicely, and we want to keep the buff from it up naturally through Whirlwind.

Frenzied Barbarian
This build is a good all-around build, with a slightly better than average focus on single target damage and survivability while trading off some of the AoE potential. It is especially well suited for Raids, Dungeons, and Helliquary — or any content that requires you to survive deadly mechanics.
Skills
- Frenzy: Your Primary as well as main damaging skill. In this build, it hits hard and fast.
- Undying Rage: This is the main survival skill of this build, allowing us to survive monstrous damage for a short while.
- Demoralize: A powerful damage buff that is ideally used as a group buff for your party.
- Wrath of the Berserker: This skill buffs our attack speed and mobility, so it’s great to use with Frenzy.
- (Option 1) Hammer of the Ancients: This skill is our best option when using The Remembered and Davin’s Legacy legendary off-hand weapon and chest armor.
- (Option 2) Furious Charge: Use this skill for extra mobility + damage, with the aim of swapping to Hammer of the Ancients after getting the needed items.
Itemization
- Battlemaster’s Helm: This legendary helm is essential in making our Demoralize such a strong buff for our group.
- Stonefall, The Remembered, and Davin’s Legacy: Main-hand weapon, off-hand weapon, and chest armor legendary triple-combo that significantly buff our Hammer of the Ancients skill. They allow us to weave in this skill seamlessly between Frenzy hits, elevating our build’s single-target potential to new heights.
- The Coming Storm: Shoulder armor legendary that buffs our Wrath of the Berserker skill, and can significantly increase its uptime.
- (Optional) Determination: Legendary Legs armor buffs our Furious Charge. Swap out for a well-stated Rare after transitioning to Hammer of the Ancients.
- Set items: War Rags of Shal’baas is our chosen set and possibly the most significant part of our itemization. The bonuses from this set are what makes Frenzy such a powerful skill for this build.
