Kirby turns into grocery shopping bag as My Nintendo Reward item

Honey, Kirby ate all the food!

Kirby stuck 99 things into his mouth in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and a plastic grocery bag wasn’t one of them. Now Nintendo decided to turn him into one as a new My Nintendo Rewards item.

The Kirby and the Forgotten Land grocery shopping is now available on the My Nintendo Rewards page for fans living in North America. It costs 600 Platinum Points, and it’s the perfect piece of gaming merch for those who are environmentally conscious when they go out shopping for groceries.

The product description for the Kirby bag is clever, alluding to Kirby going into Mouthful Mode as he appears to be swallowing the shopping bag. It reads, “This handy reusable bag features Kirby looking ready to transform to mouthful mode… perfect for shopping!”

The bag has two sides. One has Kirby’s face as it puffs up while fluttering or holding an item or Copy Ability in his mouth. The other side has Kirby walking through the forgotten world with Elfilin following close behind. It’s 23 x 16 inches when it’s open, and when folded, it’s an even 5 x 5 inches — just small enough to fit inside your purse.

In other Kirby news, Kirby and the Forgotten Land has reached the top of the sales charts in Japan. The game has sold over 550,000 copies in the last two weeks since its release, making it the biggest launch for the series in the country. It’s nearly 500,000 copies short of a million, but it’s still successful enough for Nintendo and HAL Laboratory.
