Weapons

Some weapons ignore certain status upgrades. For example, the whip will not be affected by speed or duration upgrades. So, you’ll want to keep this in mind when picking between passives to give your character.

  • Axe: Deals high damage and has high Area scaling. Ignores duration.
  • Bi-Bracelet: Evolved from the Bracelet, the Bi-Bracelet shoots out a group of sparkles at a random enemy. After getting the Bi-Bracelet, you’ll be able to evolve it into the Tri-Bracelet.
  • Bloody Tear: Evolved Whip. It can deal critical damage and absorb HP. It requires the Hollow Heart to evolve.
  • Bone: A weapon that only Mortaccia can use, this is a projectile that can bounce off of enemies and walls.
  • Bracelet: Unlocked after getting Gyorunton. This weapon fires three projectiles at a random enemy. Can be evolved into the Bi-Bracelet and then the Tri-Bracelet and doesn’t require any passive items for its evolutions.
  • Candybox: Big Trouser’s starting weapon. This weapon allows you to choose any unlocked base weapon.
  • Carréllo: Throws a projectile that bounces. This weapon doesn’t have an evolution.
  • Celestial Dusting: A projectile that bounces. This weapon is the starting weapon of O’Sole and you can purchase Celestial Dusting from the Merchant for 1,000 gold.
  • Cherry Bomb: Yet another bouncing projectile that will occasionally explode. The chances of the projectile exploding depend on your Luck stat.
  • Clock Lancet: Freezes enemies. Ignores power, speed, amount, and area upgrades. The Clock Lancet is unlocked after finding an Orologion during a run.
  • Crimson Shroud: Evolved by maxing out the Laurel, Metaglio Left, and Right, the Crimson Shroud will create a shield that protects you from damage and even make you invulnerable for a brief duration.
  • Cross: Unlocked after picking up the Rosary for the first time, this weapon will be aimed at the nearest enemy. It has a boomerang effect, so it’ll damage anything it hits on its way back to you. Ignores duration upgrades.
  • Death Spiral: The evolved version of the Axe. It’ll pass through enemies. It requires the Candelabra in order to evolve.
  • Ebony Wings: Bombards in a circling zone. Ebony Wings works great with cooldown and duration upgrades.
  • Eight The Sparrow: This weapon will fire projectiles very quickly in four directions. It’s Pugnala Provola’s starting weapon and can be unlocked for the rest of the characters by surviving 15 minutes with her. This can be evolved into the Phieraggi by getting Tiragisú and Phiera Der Tuphello.
  • Fire Wand: Shoots fire at a random enemy dealing heavy damage. Ignores duration. The Fire Wand is unlocked after destroying 20 light sources.

If a cat runs into a projectile, it will change how it affects how it plays in the game. The Gatti Amari can be evolved into Vicious Hunger by having the Stone Mask in your inventory.
  • Gorgeous Moon: Evolved form of the Pentagram, this weapon will erase all the enemies on the screen currently. However, unlike its base weapon, this one won’t delete any pickups or gems off the screen. Instead, the Gorgeous Moon will generate extra gems and then gather them all for you. This weapon has three phases: Generation where it generates gems, Erasure, where it eliminates any enemies on the screen. Then, Vacuum, where it sucks up all the gems on the level.
  • Heaven Sword: The evolved form of the Cross, the Heaven Sword deals critical damage. It requires the Clover to evolve.

  • La Borra: Evolved by maxing out Santa Water and AttractOrb, the La Borra rains down bottles of holy water that then break upon hitting the ground, leaving puddles that will damage enemies that walk across them. What makes La Borra different from Santa Water is that these puddles will travel toward your character instead of sitting in the area where the bottle broke.
  • Laurel: Shields from damage when active.
  • Lightning Ring: Strikes at random enemies with lightning. Unlocked after defeating 5,000 enemies.
  • Magic Wand: Fires at the closest enemy. Ignores duration.
  • Mannajja: Evolved from Song of Mana, this weapon acts similarly to its base weapon by shooting out waves of sparkles that pass through enemies. The difference is that anyone hit by these waves will be slowed down permanently.

When your character stops moving, these drills are fired in the direction your character is facing. This weapon can be evolved into Valkyrie Turner by having the wings in your inventory.
  • Song of Mana: This weapon sends out waves of particles vertically, and will pass through enemies, damaging them. Combining it with the Skull O’Maniac will evolve this weapon into the Mannajja.

  • Super Candybox II Turbo: Allows you the player to choose an evolved weapon with the exception of the Crimson Shroud, Infinite Corridor, and Sole Solution.

  • Tri-Bracelet: Evolved from the Bi-Bracelet, this weapon will shoot three projectiles at a random enemy.
  • Unholy Vespers: The evolved version of the King Bible. It will continuously orbit around you. It requires the Clover to evolve.
  • Whip: Attacks horizontally and is able to pass through enemies, allowing you to attack multiple creatures. It ignores any speed or duration upgrades.
  • Valkyrie Turner: Evolved form of the Shadow Pinion. This one will spawn flames behind the character, but its flames are much stronger, faster, and last longer than the base weapon’s flames.
  • Vandalier: The evolved form of Ebony Wings and Peachone. This requires both birds to be in your build in order to be evolved.
  • Vento Sacro: Similar to the Whip, the Vento Sacro will create multiple slashes in front of your character that damages any enemy that they hit. The damage these slashes can deal more damage by continuously walking. This can be united with the Bloody Tear to be evolved into the  Fuwalafuwaloo.
