Fortnite AFL Community Battles guide and rules

Fortnite has teamed up with the AFL to bring fans of Aussie Football everywhere a fun tournament to take part in. If you manage to get a place on a team you can win up to 800 V-Bucks, but be advised that places are limited to 5000 members for each team. You can also become a fan of a team and will earn an exclusive spray if they win, but will not be able to earn V-Bucks.
The first thing you will need to do is head to the AFL tournament page and link your Fortnite account. This is easy to do and is prompted when you try to log in. Each team consists of one AFL athlete and a notable content creator, so make sure you pick wisely. You can check your daily tasks on the event page to find out what you need to do.
The event will run from January 27 to January 31, and during this time you can earn points for the team by completing in-game tasks. Earning points will help your team in the standings, so make sure you put the work in.
Rewards
- Punt Spray – rewards to players who complete at least one task
- 200 V-Bucks – rewarded to all players on the third-place team.
- 400 V-Bucks – rewarded to all players on the second-place team.
- 800 V-Bucks – rewarded to all players on the first-place team.
