Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recently released their biggest ever free content update in Black Ops history. The game has added new content, including the Raid Map, Gunfight Mode, new weapons, modes, and more. Unfortunately, after updating the game, many PC players are encountering the “Zed 398 Swift Clover,” and here we have explained this error and Treyarch’s response regarding it.

What is “Zed 398 Swift Clover Error”?

Zed 398 Swift Clover is a new error that Black Ops Cold War players are facing, and it prevents them from playing multiplayer matches. Treyarch has acknowledged the issue and stated that they are actively working to fix the error soon.

As a result, PC players started playing Cold War with players on other platforms, but to keep the lobbies healthy and full, Treyarch temporarily disabled the crossplay on PC until they find a fix.

Some players have also pointed out that they can play modes like Fireteam: Dirty Bomb or Zombies mode, which means the error occurs only when you try to play one of the new MP maps.
