Yu-Gi-Oh! forbidden and limited card list

These are the cards you can and cannot use in official games.

Yu-Gi-Oh has thousands of cards to choose from to build your deck. Unfortunately, with that many cards available, there are some cards that are unbalanced. It is possible for players to create decks that are incredibly overpowered. To remedy this, Konami has created a regularly updated list of forbidden and limited cards for official use.

There are three official classifications on the forbidden cards list. Forbidden cards are outright banned from use in any official games and tournaments. They cannot be in a player’s side deck, extra deck, or main deck. Limited cards can be used, but only one copy can be present in any of your decks. Semi-limited cards can also be used, but you are limited to two copies across all of your decks.

Here is the current updated list of forbidden and limited cards. This is a very long list, so it may be easier to use Ctrl-F to search the entire list for any cards you may be unsure of.

I am an avid PC gamer - I play a lot of Gacha games, MMOs, Survival games and TCGs. I am also getting more into mobile games. I cover and play a little bit of everything and love to explore new genres. When I am not actively playing or writing about games I am watching streams or managing a Minecraft server.
