How to get two new companions from Torghast in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
An old friend returns from Legion, along with a companion related to your Covenant

If you have checked out Torghast in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, you’ll know that rare events can appear on each floor and grant you an Anima power. If the event includes a Covenant NPC, you have the chance to unlock two new companions for your travels.
Where to look for companion events in Torghast
In Layer 2 (or higher) of any wing of Torghast, you can farm companions whether or not you have already earned your Soul Ash for the week. These events should pop up on Floor 1, 2, 4, or 5. Only one event will take place on each floor, and if you notice a chest on a given floor, you won’t find a companion, so you can try another floor. Although each covenant has multiple events, only one specific NPC will give you the quest to earn a companion.
Which companions you can earn in Torghast
The following Covenant NPCs appear to offer a quest for completing the bonus objective:

For this week only, you can also find Meatball, who you might remember from the Brawler’s Guild in Legion.
Once you sight your covenant’s NPC or Meatball, be sure you finish the bonus objective for the floor. After you successfully finish, speak to the NPC to pick up their quest, and you’ll have yourself a new companion to use at the Mission Table.
