Suppose you opened one of your first capsules in Legends of Runeterra, and along with your cards and shards, you find something else, a Wildcard. Wildcards are unique and helpful tools that make crafting the perfect deck that much easier. And while it can be confusing at first, these cards are essential.
Wildcards are neutral cards that can be used to instantly craft any card in the game, depending on the card’s rarity. Each Wildcard will give you a copy of a card without using any shards. Common Wildcards give you one common, rare gives rares, epic Wildcards give epics, and Champion Wildcards will give you a Champion.
Crafting with Wildcards
You won’t find Wildcards in your inventory. To access it, go to your collection and click cards. Once you enter the cards menu, make sure that “show unowned” is on. Now you will see all cards that are available to craft. Click on the card you want to craft, and it will give you the option to use a Wildcard.
Taking this route when building up your deck will save you some shards for the next big Champion you want to buy. These are fairly common to come by, so don’t be afraid to use them when crafting.
