How to drink water in RLCraft
How to keep from dying from thirst in the hardest Minecraft mod pack.

RLCraft is one of the most popular mod packs for Minecraft, and arguably the most difficult. One thing that makes this pack so challenging is that you need to keep up with your thirst as well as your hunger and health. Quenching your thirst is fairly easy. The simplest way is to just drink water, but you can’t just drink water from any source without risking unknown effects. Here is how to make and drink purified water in RLCraft.
Items
To get purified water you will need:
- A water source
- A cauldron
- A furnace
- A bucket
- Coal
- At least one glass bottle
Process
To get purified water, first find a decent source of water like a lake or river. Fill one of your buckets with water and then find a safe space. Once you find somewhere you won’t die immediately, place the furnace and the cauldron. Fill the cauldron with water and drop some coal in the furnace to get ready for the next step.
After you have your water purifying area set up, start filling your glass bottles with water from the cauldron. You can do this by right-clicking on the cauldron with the bottle in your hand. Once you have filled all the bottles you can, place them into the furnace. The water will boil and become a Purified Water Bottle.
Purified bottles of water are not stackable, so you will not be able to add multiple bottles at once and will need to remove each bottle once it is finished being purified. To drink the water, just hold it in your hand and righ-click like you would if you were eating food.
