Where to find Duraludon in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Duraludon is a new Dragon-type Pokémon in Sword and Shield. It’s an attractive Pokémon for serious trainers for a couple of reasons. Duraludon has excellent base stats, making it great for Battles, and can also have the Dynamax ability.
You can find Duraludon on Route 10, outside of Wyndon. It will spawn between levels 45 and 48 but has just a one-percent chance of spawning in the overworld. Route 10 is right before you take on the Champion’s Cup, making Duraludon a great addition to your team if you can get him.
If you wish, you can also visit the Lake of Outrage in the Wild Area, which is a hotbed of powerful Pokémon spawns. The problem here is that so many different Pokémon spawn in this area that is a bit of a pot-luck, and the ever-changing weather can make plans to catch a particular Pokémon moot.
Duraludon has a two-percent chance of spawning in this area during heavy snow, and it is a hidden encounter, making it awkward because you will need to start the Battle to see what type of Pokémon has spawned. If you are in the Wild Area, you can change the weather to increase your chances of catching this Pokémon.
The last places you might come across this powerful Pokémon is in Max Raid Battles, or potentially as a Strong Spawn in the Wild Area. Once again, the chance of this is meager. With such low spawn rates, it almost makes sense to make your hunt for Duraludon a secondary objective while you do other things in these areas or hunt for other Pokémon. The good thing about trying Max Raid Battles is that it might just get you a Duraludon that can Gigantimax.
